Executive Seminar
This one-day seminar covers the key concepts and principles of the
TSP from an executive perspective. The purpose of this course is to provide the foundation
that executives and senior managers need to begin to introduce and apply the TSP in their
organization. This course is geared towards executives who are responsible for software
development or maintenance, and executives responsible for software support areas such as
software quality assurance, software engineering process groups, systems or hardware
engineering, documentation, or finance.
Objectives
- become familiar with basic TSP concepts
- learn how the application of TSP in practice in an organization can improve software
development activities
- learn how the TSP can be used to manage engineers and projects
- understand the relationship between the TSP and software process improvement goals
- appreciate the potential benefits (both tangible and intangible) to be realized from
implementing the TSP in an organization
Overview
